Important Notification: General Education Elective Selection Policy

Please be advised of important policies governing your selection of General Education (GE) Electives during registration. These guidelines are in place to ensure adherence to Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Memorandum Orders (CMOs).

To ensure compliance, kindly note the following:

  1. No Repetition of Topics: You are not permitted to take the same GE elective topic more than once. Please ensure your choices are distinct from any GE electives you may have previously taken.
  2. Domain Coverage Requirement: In accordance with CHED CMOs, your chosen GE electives must collectively cover at least two (2) distinct domains of knowledge. The recognized domains are:
    • Arts and Humanities
    • Social Sciences and Philosophy
    • Science, Technology, and Mathematics
